Youth Work

Our young people are an important part of our church community and we have age specifc groups for them to explore what it means to have a faith in Jesus in a way that is appropriate for them.  All apart from Sunday Evenings meet at church during our morning service.
 

Attached below are the latest programmes for Hay Hill Kidz and Underground. 
 

A Creche is available at the back of the church in a soundproof room for babies.

Tiddlywinks is for children aged 0-4 and aims to introduce the basic concepts of God, creation, prayer, worship etc through stories, songs, craft and fun.

Hay Hill Kidz 1 is for chilren aged 4-7 (reception to year 2) and aims to introduce the bible and teach children how to handle their bibles through bible stories, fun, craft and activities. The children are encouraged to explore spirituality and how to apply what they learn to their lives. 

Hay Hill Kidz 2 is for 7-11 year olds (school years 3 to 6).  It aims to give an overview of the ‘Big Story’, helping children to see how things connect together.  Children are encouraged to explore spirituality and how to apply what they learn to their lives.

Underground is for 11-16 year olds (school years 7-11).  The group focuses on discipleship and looks at how the Bible is relevant to what is going on in their lives and the world around them, looking at ethical issues and questions of faith.  The sessions include a mix of discussion, prayer, games, role play and video clips.

Sunday Evenings is for 15-18 year olds (school years 11-13) and meets at the Lawton's twice a month.  Sessions are a mix of bible study, discussion and prayer and explore how Christianity relates to the world in which we live.
